Pancreatitis
Excessive alcoholism can lead to inflammation of pancreas, medically termed as pancreatitis. In the latter stages it may ultimately lead to scarring of these large glands. The generation of insulin and the way in which sugar is released in the blood streams gets affected. The often symptoms include severe abdominal pain, vomiting, nausea, sweats and fever. Further complications may include bleeding and heart, lung and kidney damage.
Hypertension
Hypertension or high blood pressure is another factor that is triggered by alcohol abuse. This distinguished condition is associated by increased blood flow through the arteries, these functioning can damage the wall of these arteries and may lead to stroke, heart disease like attacks, angina, pulmonary edema etc.
Osteoporosis
Alcohol abuse can surprisingly lead to osteoporosis, these syndrome can lead to thinning of bones and loss of bone mass. This kind of depletion can hamper the bones by making them weak and brittle. Excessive consumption of alcohol can diminish the vitamins and minerals that are the essentials of healthy bones. Some major symptoms associated with osteoporosis include dull pain in bones or muscles; this pain can gradually increase and may become unbearable, fractures etc.
