The third reason why man boobs would appear is take in of drugs. There are some drugs such as cimetidine, spironolactone or finasteride (the latter is a common drug for androgenetic alopecia or loss of hair) that affect the glands that produce testosterone and increase the production of estrogen. Talk to your doctor if you’re taking drugs and notice growing man boobs, it may be as simple as changing medication to lose man boobs.
